The National Preventative Health Strategy

The National Preventative Health Strategy, developed by the National Preventative Health Taskforce, provides a blueprint for tackling chronic diseases caused by obesity, tobacco and excessive consumption of alcohol.  The recommendations of the Strategy are directed at primary prevention and targets have been set in regards to reducing obesity, tobacco and excessive alcohol consumption.  The targets align with those set by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) for the National Partnership on Preventative Health and the National Health Care Agreement.

Nabenet Health strongly support the National Preventative Health Strategy and as an Endorsed Service Provider for the WorkHealth initiative are currently assisting in the detection and prevention of chronic disease across Victoria.
