Worksafe Accredited RTW Coordinator Training
Existing RTW Coordinators wishing to consolidate their skills and newly appointment RTW Coordinators requiring skills development. The course is also suitable for supervisors, employers and Health and Safety Representatives.
To provide participants with knowledge as to legislative expectations of themselves and their employer as well as practical tools and advice about how they can build on these expectations to implement effective return to work practices.

- The importance of return to work and sustainable return to work outcome
- Effectively facilitate the return of an injured worker communicating with Treating Practitioners
- Responding to workplace injuries Policies & Return to Work Plans
- Cultural change: communicating to your team with injured workers

- Difficulties in communicating with treating practitioners
- Non progressive RTW i.e full time hours achieved but still no modified duties
- Inconsistent approach to RTW
- Lack of suitable duties or unable to identify duties to match capacity
This two day training program has been developed to ensure that staff involved in the return to work process acquire the right skills & knowledge to perform their role effectively.
