Nabenet is proud to be one of eight Victorian organisations awarded funding through WorkSafe Victoria’s Return to Work Innovations (RTWI) Grant program.

Our project, Building Managers to Support Recovery through Work, will focus on giving construction managers and workplace leaders the tools, knowledge and confidence to better support injured workers throughout their recovery.

Through tailored training, coaching and practical digital resources, Nabenet will help managers identify suitable duties, maintain meaningful communication with injured workers and address common barriers to recovery and return to work.

The project recognises the important role that workplace leaders play in creating a supportive environment where recovery and safe work can go hand in hand.

Nabenet Executive General Manager, Amy Williams, said:
“We are delighted to receive this funding from WorkSafe Victoria. This project provides an opportunity to work directly with workplace leaders to build their capability and confidence in supporting injured workers. By strengthening the skills of managers and supervisors, we can help create better pathways back to safe, meaningful work and ultimately improve return to work outcomes.”

The RTWI program brings together organisations across Victoria to trial practical approaches that address barriers to recovery and generate insights that can help improve return to work outcomes more broadly.

Nabenet looks forward to delivering this initiative and contributing to WorkSafe’s vision of better recovery outcomes for injured workers through work.
